Rosetta

In her Rosetta series (2018), Anker uses a traditional cut-and-paste technique to create a sense of disorientation. Utilizing highly produced garden images sourced from magazines, she creates a layered, physical image that challenges viewers to discern the analog from the digital and blurs the boundaries between fact and fiction.
